Colorado High School Boys Lacrosse Coaches Association

General Provisions 

  • Promotes lacrosse as a positive model for high school students.

  • Association consists of head coaches of CHSAA sanctioned varsity programs

  • Assists in providing information through communication to all high school coaches to help maintain boys' high school lacrosse in Colorado as a successful activity for student athletes.

 Partial list of specific functions performed by the Coaches Association:

  • Maintains an executive board to provide representation from both 4A and 5A conferences

  • Schedules and hosts pre and post season coaches’ meetings

  • Maintains and distributes a Coaches and ADs contact data base

  • Organizes the Coaches Association boy's lacrosse All-State teams

  • Organizes and hosts the year-end All Star Froelicher-Toll All Star game for 4A and 5A

  • Selects All-Americans

  • Selects Academic All-Americans

  • Selects and recognizes numerous other awards unique to lacrosse honoring coaches, participants, administrators and lacrosse supporters to include the Doc Stabler award, Ken Ranta award, Bob Hiester Coach of the year award, Assistant coach of the year award, Person of the Year, the Zach Hills award and the Colin Cassidy Memorial award.

  • Organizes, coaches and supports Colorado's U19 team consisting of players from numerous schools that annually participates in the Vail Shootout

  • Helps communicate openings for league games, coach openings, and other information for all participating schools in connection with CHSAA.
